By participating in this dynamic board and committees, you actively contribute to the realization of our mission: to foster the spiritual, mental, and physical development of individuals, families, and communities according to the ideals of inclusiveness, equality, and mutual respect for all. Together, we are strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As an Advisory Board or Committee member, you will have the opportunity to attend regular meetings, typically scheduled every month. Your commitment allows you to be the voice of your Y and help us put our mission into action.

YMCA Silver Spring - Volunteer Coordinator

YMCA Silver Spring

Looking for someone to coordinate volunteers. Coordinator will work with department heads to develop tasks and opportunities and help place volunteers. 5 hours a week can be done remotely. Volunteer should be adept at coordinating projects. Volunteer must have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people. Must learn and be able to navigate the Volunteer Matters platform and have strong follow-through skills. Must be detail-oriented.
