Join the YMCA Fairfax County Reston for our Community Service Day as we come together to create a safe, clean, and welcoming outdoor space for our Youth Development programs. Volunteers will support a variety of hands-on outdoor projects including cleaning, landscaping, painting, and general beautification efforts. This event is a great opportunity to give back, connect with others, and make a visible impact in our community. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to help and be part of something meaningful!

• All volunteers must check in upon arrival • Wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing • Gloves are recommended (limited supplies may be available) • Stay hydrated and take breaks as needed • Follow all instructions from YMCA staff • Use tools and equipment safely and only as directed • Be mindful of uneven surfaces and outdoor hazards • Immediately report any injuries or concerns to staff
• Volunteers are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel • Same-day cancellations should be communicated as soon as possible • In the event of severe weather, the event will move to the rain date of June 12 • Updates will be communicated via email
